# Oddessy developer documentation

> Oddessy is a governed industrial edge-AI platform for device fleets, VLM/VLA model provenance, verified releases and operator-facing agents. This index distinguishes live capabilities from previews and planned work.

Oddessy software is not a safety-rated control. PLC logic, safety relays, interlocks, emergency stops, configured site policy and accountable human operators remain authoritative.
